TCM Sports bets on domestic cricket growth through strategic state association partnerships

TCM Sports is expanding its presence in India’s domestic cricket environment through long-term relationships with state cricket bodies and top T20 competitions.

TCM Sports is collaborating closely with the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) on the inaugural TG20 League in Telangana for the 2026 season, continuing its partnership with the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) for the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, and expanding its work with the relaunched Vidarbha Premier League.

The TG20 League is a crucial addition to India’s domestic cricket schedule, providing a platform for Telangana’s budding talent. As part of its marketing mission for the event, TCM Sports has successfully signed Sreenidhi University, GMR, and BBG Group as partners for the league’s debut season.

In Karnataka, TCM Sports maintains its long-standing partnership with the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20. TCM Sports has overseen the league’s commercial rights since its establishment, as well as sponsorship sales, media partnerships, hospitality, ticketing, marketing, and event management. For this season, the firm has partnered with Dacss Granites & Marbles, Cycle Pure Agarbathi, and Adarsh Builders, among others.

TCM Sports also teamed with the Vidarbha Cricket Association to revive the Vidarbha Premier League. The event just finished, with over 30,000 people watching the final on June 14, demonstrating the rising popularity of local T20 cricket in the region. TCM Sports helped the league with commercial rights, sponsorship sales, media agreements, and event delivery.

The company is also involved in a growing number of state-based T20 leagues, including the Baroda Premier League, Chhattisgarh Cricket Premier League, Andhra Premier League, Kerala Cricket League, and Pondicherry Premier League, among others, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to strengthening domestic cricket in India.

Lokesh Sharma, Managing Director of TCM Sports, said, “Domestic cricket remains the foundation of Indian cricket and continues to play a critical role in identifying and developing talent across the country. Strong domestic T20 tournaments create opportunities not only for players, but also for associations, stakeholders, brands, broadcasters and fans. We remain committed to working alongside state cricket associations to help build sustainable and commercially successful tournaments that contribute to the long-term growth of the game.”

With local T20 competitions becoming increasingly crucial in player development and fan engagement, TCM Sports is dedicated to supporting the next phase of growth for state-level cricket in India.
